why hire a cinematographer for your wedding or elopement?
something I always tell my couples is that you won't regret adding video to your day, but you might regret it if you don't. film encapsulates what you felt even more than photos can. while I have printed my own wedding photos and put them up on my walls, I still go back and watch my highlight reel every year. it takes me right back to that day and let's me remember how I truly felt when I saw my husband at our first look, when I walked down the aisle with my dad, and when I partied all night on the dance floor.
photos can definitely tell your story, but not like film. you have to ask yourself if it's worth it to you as a couple. if it is, you absolutely won't regret it.
what type of projects are you working on?
currently, I'm having so much fun putting out vlogs with my husband on our youtube channel: creative excuses. it's a lifestyle channel covering travel, diys, day in the life, and any other excuses to be creative we have. I've loved exploring the vlog style as opposed to my very cinematic style in my short films. Although, I have plans to merge the two styles on our channel!
I also work on films as a cinematographer (I love the art) or script supervisor (I love my details). if you're interested in hearing more about that, get in touch!
